Monitoring to Conserve Midwestern Birds
The National Easement Assessment Project is a collaborative effort between the USDA-NRCS Easements Program Division and the University of Tennessee to develop recommendations for monitoring, managing, and ensuring compliance on 2.3 million acres of NRCS easements lands nationwide.
NEAP is currently conducting reviews of monitoring programs used by federal, state, and non-profit agencies. Information gained from this review and other consultations with natural resource professionals will feed into NEAP recommendations for developing and implementing a national monitoring program to determine if national easement program objectives are being met.
Feel free to contact NEAP Team Members with any questions.
