Event Description

My artistic skills are woefully poor! Therefore, in the true spirit of collaboration, I am enlisting your help in designing a logo that captures the essence of the Midwest Coordinated Bird Monitoring Partnership. Empower your artistic sides, engage artsy colleagues, or showcase your expertise with Photoshop to submit your best idea for our logo.

Submissions can be emailed to me at: katie_koch@fws.gov (please keep them under 5 MB if possible) for use in a logo contest to be held later this spring. All submissions must be received by February 26, 2010 to be eligible. You will have an opportunity to vote on the winning logo in early March 2010. I will also be conjuring up fabulous prizes for the top three entries.

Thanks for participating!
Katie

Sure. The artists need to keep the design a little simpler for the logo to work well both ways. The PIF logo was not designed with B&W in mind. We used to also have to think of how it would come through on a fax. Happily, that's not important anymore.

Good point, Terry. Ideally, our selected logo would be versatile enough to look good in both color and black and white. Based on your experience, is this doable?

Do you want this to look good in color and black and white?
